NEW HERE

WHAT TO EXPECT

If you’re thinking about visiting us for the first time—welcome! We’re really glad you’re here. We know it can feel a little daunting stepping into a new church, but we hope from the moment you arrive you’ll feel at ease, at home, and genuinely welcomed.

At Sharnbrook Evangelical Church, our focus is simple: Jesus. We gather to celebrate His death for us on the cross, His resurrection, and the new life He offers to everyone who believes in Him. Our meetings are designed to be accessible, relevant and informal, with a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

If you would like more information before your visit please message us using the form under 'Contact Us'.

Knowing JESUS MORE | Making Jesus Known

We’re a church family made up of all ages, and we love having children join us. There are friendly helpers on hand each week to support with children’s activities and make sure our younger visitors feel included and cared for.

Whether you’re exploring faith, returning to church, or looking for a new church family, we’d be delighted to meet you. Below you’ll find answers to some of the common questions people have when visiting for the first time—hopefully they’ll help you feel even more comfortable before you step through the door.

We look forward to welcoming you soon!

  • WHEN ARE YOUR SERVICES?

We meet every Sunday Moring at 10.30 am in the main School Hall of Sharnbrook Academy.

Sunday evenings at 6pm some members meet with our sister church,  Grace Community Church, at The Addison Centre, Kemptston.

  • WHAT HAPPENS AT A SERVICE?

Our services are informal friendly gatherings of people interested in knowing more about God and to worship him wit likeminded people.

We worship God in song and prayer, and explore the Bible together. This is usually by listening to someone talk about a Bible passage and explain what it tells us about God and means for our lives.

You are free to participate in all this as much or as little as you feel comfortable.

We stay on after the service for refreshments and chat.

Once a month, as part of the service, we celebrate communion together as a family of those saved by Jesus amd seeking to follow him.

  • WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Come as you feel comfortable - we do!

  • ARE CHILDREN WELCOME?

We welcome children to our services. As needed, church members with experience of working with children provide children's teaching during the sermon.

  • WHERE DO I PARK?

Ample car parking space is available in front of the school's main building.

  • HOW DO I WATCH ONLINE?

We do not offer live streaming of our services but video recordings of our services are available shortly afterwards on our YouTube channel (See under 'Videos'). And you can catch up on previous services there as well.
